Tasks basics

A task has an owner, a state, and a deadline — visible to everyone.

What a task is

A task is a unit of real work: follow up with a customer, prepare an invoice, call a supplier. It has an owner — human or AI — a status, and optionally a deadline and a department scope.

States

Tasks move through a fixed state machine: pending, queued, running, waiting for approval, blocked, completed, failed, cancelled. Every transition is recorded, and nothing jumps states silently.

Who sees what

Your team sees their own work; managers see their department's; the owner sees the company. The overview surfaces what is stuck before it hurts.
