Open Communications to see every channel and its honest status: connected, ready to connect, or not available yet. The platform never shows a channel as working when it isn't.

If a channel isn't configured
The channel simply shows its true status, and your conversations stay where they are. Nothing breaks, and nothing pretends to work.
